POST OFFICE SQUARE as seen in this postcard dated 1911. Note watering trough on left and hitching post in foreground and the beautiful elm tree in the middle of the square. Pettee & Colburn general store on the right, C.F. Bryant’s at comer of Pond & Billings streets, and the Dennett Block on the left contained several stores at ground level with offices above.  (Postage stamp on card is One Cent)
